Summer is the best day for a holiday. Because of the climate, the summer in the UK is very short, the temperature is not high, and the sunshine time is short throughout the year. So, the British like to go to the sunny tropical islands and seaside resorts in the summer.

Most British holidaymakers have returned to the same place for a vacation — and many have even been to the same beach. A survey shows that 93% of Britons have been to the same place for vacation and nearly half (45%) go to the same beach. Half eat at the same restaurant, and 43% like to stay in the same hotel. At the top of the British revisiting holiday, spots are Paris, Spain, and Greece.

France

France is the closest continental European country to the UK. Although the British and the French do not always get along well with each other, the French style has always had a market in the UK. Paris is not only the location for many movies but also one of the most beautiful cities in the world. There is also many vibrant romantic countrysides out of the city. France has nice mountains and seas, cuisine and wine, and people who like sightseeing, art and culture can go to big cities like Paris. People who like nature and outdoor activities can go to the Alps for a bicycle trip or hiking trip to Provence.

Spain

When people in UK talk about holidays, sunshine, islands and beaches, the first thing they think about is Spain, which is almost the most popular tourist destination for all British people. Spain is not far from Britain, with a similar culture and cheaper prices. Most importantly, a better climate! So, it has become the first choice for many Britons to spend their holidays. Some of them even have a house in Spain as their second home. Spain has island beaches and sightseeing cities to meet the needs of people of all ages and hobbies. The scenery along the Sunshine Coast of Spain is fascinating.

Greece

Greece is also known for its islands. The Aegean Sea, the Ionian Sea, and the Mediterranean Sea are surrounding in three sides. Vacationing in Greece is also about enjoying the sun, islands, and beaches, as well as exploring the history, ruins and myths of thousands of years in Athens.

There are so many different islands in Greece. For example, the islands in the east are close to Turkey. You can feel the distinctly different Middle Eastern style. The largest island in the south, Crete, benefits from the warm winds from Africa. On the Aegean Sea, Mykonos and Santorini, you can enjoy the Greek island style buildings with white walls and blue roofs. How a beautiful place to attract you!
