Architizer, the world’s largest online architecture community, kicked off its stylish new headquarters on March 2 with a party and an exclusive talk by Dominic Leong of Leong Leong, an award-winning New York-based design office making huge strides in the architecture community with its innovative design solutions that bring culture into architecture in an eclectic urban mix.
The building itself calls New-York, New-York while the new office speaks to Architizer’s edginess and thought leadership in an eclectic mix of its own. Architizer handpicked items to build its new office and represent its brand. From a huge, white LEGO logo, to the tech in the office, the chairs and the desk, to the neon Architizer sign, the new Architizer office is the definition of contemporary, urban and minimalist.
Rich Brilliant Willing’s elegant LED suspension lights, the minimalist Poppin desks, Allsteel chairs coupled with JOAN’s sleek epaper room booking displays now give Architizer its new home, making it the perfect place to empower architecture every day by being efficient in every sense of the word, from ultra energy-efficiency to general productivity.
“The new JOAN Manager allows us to schedule any one of our five meeting rooms with impeccable energy efficiency,” wrote Architizer. “Powered by Visionect, JOAN connects to existing Google Calendars and online infrastructure to serve as a real-time virtual scheduling assistant, letting team members know when rooms are booked or free through a sleek touchscreen display that’s simply installed on our glass meeting room walls via a self-adhesive magnetic mount.”
