Traffic reports!

Hey it’s been a while!

First things first, please welcome ustwo Adventure to Job Garden. I guarantee you’ll have heard of or even use several of the startups in their portfolio, like DICE, Hoop, and Marvel 👉 Check out their job board here.

Here’s a new feature: let’s say you have a public job board…

And you can have one, if you’d like! Create an account using our new signup page, and start endorsing companies in your portfolio. You can tick a box to make it public when you’re ready.

Ok, so let’s say you have your public job board… well, the point of having it is to spread the word about those jobs. So you tweet about it, or link it from your homepage, or put it in your email newsletter.

But which of those methods of driving awareness are effective? Nobody knows!

UNTIL NOW.

The Data button

See that button that says Data?

It takes you to a page which shows you web traffic for the past 30 days, including:

  • Inbound traffic — you can see that in the screen grab at the top of this page. It shows you whether people are coming from Twitter (in my case: 54 during September), or your homepage, or whatever
  • Outbound traffic — we track to see which jobs are catching people’s attention. Here you can see which are getting the most clicks.
Outbound traffic

Traffic reports are generated weekly. Your traffic data is private.

I’ll try not to leave it so long before writing again. See you next time.
