VR Esports Developer Relations
In esports, community is everything.
As an early fan and advocate for VR esports, I threw in efforts with a good friend to help him start his league (Virtual Athletics League or VAL). We experienced tremendous growth and made amazing friends and partnerships with different VR development teams, sponsors and athlete across the globe. I was an admin for the VAL Discord server, helped arbitrate tournament rules and policies, co-organized and hosted numerous global tournaments and cross VR arcade tournaments for the below titles and helped connect thousands of global VR athletes and hundreds of international VR arcades in a super unique way.
In esports, community is everything. Without a community, you might have a great game, but it’s not an esports title. These are some titles I helped negotiate, organize, host, and execute events around and build community for.
