People will be rude. They will be selfish and arrogant. They will choose their own ego before you time and time again.
People will be unpleasant. They will be uncaring for those around them. They will even be cruel.
People will be unkind and egotistical, off-putting and flippant. They will say offensive things and cling stubbornly to their beliefs in the face of all logic and reason.
People will disappoint you. They will be dishonest, they will be greedy. People will try to cheat you, and some of them will even get away with it.
People will be lazy when they should be active. People will be active when they should be still. People will be silent when they should speak up and they will speak up when they should be silent. People will be vacant when you need them the most, and they will have excuses when the time comes to call on them.
There will be things that happen to you that are unfair, unjust, and even illegal. There will be promotions given to people less qualified than you. Politics will play a larger role than merit. There will be nepotism. There will be surprise layoffs. There will be…
