Oswego Committee Coverage Preview

On Monday Sept. 19, the City of Oswego committee held their biweekly meeting at the Oswego City Hall. Zoning was debated at length, as it pertains to the city, property renters and those renting the properties, including SUNY Oswego students.

A proposed increase in the fee for gaining a permit to rent was a central topic in the debate at the meeting. Other issues addressed on Monday were the installment of a slide at Washington Park and a disagreement over property lines as it pertains to building new structures or surfaces. The later was debated between a rental property owner who is not an Oswego resident and an Oswego resident.
