Credibility’s Formula

The quest for credibility is a reasonable pursuit for most.

But first, what is it?

Credibility is the quality of being trusted and believed in.

Here’s a formula:

Credibility = Experience X Expertise X Sincerity

But what does one do when you don’t have experience or expertise?

So if you’re lacking experience in a scenario, leverage someone else’s (or simply history) to establish experience.

When you’re lacking expertise you leverage someone else who’s had the expertise who’s provided that value.

Leveraging other historical accomplishments doesn’t mean you should claim it as yours.

This is why sincerity is so important.

Credibility is really built through other credible subjects.

What’s the easiest way to become a giant?

By standing on the shoulders of one.
