Over the past few weeks, we’ve been in awe of the medical professionals, first responders, cleaning crews, grocery workers, delivery men and women, public servants, and others who are on the front lines of COVID-19.

Unfortunately, in addition to a health crisis, we’re now beginning to see the pandemic’s drastic legal ramifications to those in need. Individuals are having to navigate unlawful evictions, loss of wages and benefits, delays in court proceedings, and domestic violence situations, among other challenges.

It’s time for lawyers to join the fight. Today, in partnership with the New York State Bar Association and Clio, and in coordination with Governor Cuomo’s office, we’re proud to launch a state-wide pro bono opportunity portal to increase access to justice. The first issue we’ll tackle is appealing unemployment insurance denials to get temporary income into the hands of millions of New Yorkers, and scale new initiatives from there.

Lawyers, you have the skills and expertise to overwhelmingly impact a New Yorker’s life today. Please visit https://nysba.joinpaladin.com/ to search and sign up for an opportunity to help.
