Royal ‘Early Access’ Winners: How to Claim your Ownership in ‘Worst Case’

It’s been a few weeks since our ‘Early Access Contest’ concluded. Since then, our team has been hard at work validating the submissions and we’re excited to say it’s time for the winners to claim their prize!

If you received an email today from royal, it means you were confirmed as one of the top 333 referrers, and scored one of our first-ever limited digital assets representing streaming royalty ownership in 3LAU’s latest single!

To claim your prize, please take the following steps:

1. Log into your account on royal.io via desktop (The prize is associated with the account you signed up & invited friends with)
2. If you’re a winner, you’ll see a prompt to Connect Metamask. Go ahead and connect your wallet.

3. Sit back and relax.

After you complete the steps above, royal will automatically mint your token into your Metamask wallet within a day or so…gas for this one is on us (we’re just waiting for it to be beneath 150 gwei).

What exactly are limited digital assets? It’s normal to have some questions… so let’s get you up to speed.

Limited digital assets are royal’s enhanced version of a non-fungible token. When you participate in an artists’ drop, this is what you purchase (in this case, your prize).

When you hold a limited digital asset of a particular song, you are entitled to royalty payouts directly from the artist according to the terms specified from the drop.

For ‘Worst Case’, 3LAU is giving 50% of streaming profit equally to the 333 winners. We expect royalty payouts to begin in December of this year and will keep our community posted when we have further details.
