Confession: Sometimes I struggle with introductions…
I guess it’s partially because I feel like I don’t want to misrepresent myself. I don’t want to feel trapped by my own words and limited by my own representation of myself.
My writings of myself are not timeless. They are a snapshot of what I am thinking and feeling during this time. These words hardly define me now, as I type them, let alone months and years from now, when you may be reading them.
So, since this is my introduction article, allow me to set this standard as a guiding principle for each piece of content I create here on out:
I am a beautiful, morphing, ever-changing Human Being. What is true for me in this moment may not be in the future. Sometimes I may be disconnected from my own Source. Sometimes I will be able to feel my own Love, sometimes not. I try to allow others the grace of expansion and change…so if y’all could do that for me — and love me (even imperfectly) as I show up on the daily, I’d much appreciate it. Deal? Deal.
As a person who does not really feel empowered by labels, this is a struggle for me, but here it goes, anyway…
One of the few labels I accept for myself is one I treat as a title: “Oracle.”
It was a struggle of self-acceptance to accept the title for myself and then proclaim it outwardly. Much like the continual coming-out struggle for many of my siblings in the LGBT+ community, accepting the label/title of “oracle” came with a mixed bag of feelings ranging from, “What will people think?” to “Will I be burned at the stake again?” to “They’ll laugh, for sure…”
Finally, there was the ownership, which looked something like this: “People respected oracles once, and they’re learning to respect them again. I’ll be on the leading edge that empowers them and shows them how.”
The world is changing. New energy is coming in, more and more people are shifting from the old energy into a broader form of Love than that we can currently imagine.
And I’m here to help it along. I have a big vision for myself, and I have a big vision for the world.
I am here to see it birthed into reality.
I am here to see it manifested.
I am here to see it REAL-ized.
I’m here to be amazed, feel the joy, of that manifestation.
Hi, my name is Jessi (she/her), and I’m an Oracle.
If you insist on putting other labels on me, I identify as a gender-fluid femme (but please don’t call me a woman) that is pan- and poly-sexual. Currently, I’m practicing my own form of solo-polyamory and I’m loving it. (For those who don’t know, “polyamory” means simple “many loves,” which means people who are polyamorous have multiple partners of various forms.) I love relating with people on a variety of different levels at different times. This form of relationship style is something that I’ve been manifesting for a while, so I’m pretty stoked to have finally seen it come to this version — and I’m excited to see where it’s going.
I feel like most people focus on the past when it comes to introductions.
I am not most people.
I am only interested in where I am currently as much as I’m interested in gum that has had all the flavor chewed out of it. (Even though my current reality IS fabulousness incarnate.)
Where I am going is MUCH more exciting. It’s where my focus is. It’s what I desire.
Where I’m going:
— Soon, I’ll be doing #vanlife — traveling the country in a full-sized van with my two fur-baby kitties, Spark and Faithful. Our plan is to go from our current state of Indiana, USA, west to explore the southwestern USA. As the weather gets warmer, we’ll explore the northern USA and Canada. (I am so STOKED!)
— I’m growing and expanding my spiritual empowerment coaching and tarot reading business. Yes, that’s right, I pair my LGBT+ spiritual empowerment coaching with my love of divination. Let me know if you have any specific questions when it comes to tarot and oracle readings, because I’d love to do future articles with those in mind. (Also, feel free to reach out for readings or coaching opportunities.)
— Along that line, I’m developing an empowering online course for beginners to learn tarot. The working title is “Tarot and Your Hero’s Journey.” Follow me on social media and stay tuned for more info.

— I’m going to be building an awesome tribe-community of fellow uplifters and teachers and intuitives who are focused on building a more loving and caring world. This means focusing on the positive aspects of the world around us, and manifesting our ideal world into being. Utilizing the Law of Attraction to its fullest capability, for the love of humanity and Mother Earth.
In my experience, the adage “Where focus goes, energy flows” is true. I’m moving forward, not backward. In my forward movement, I’m changing the world. I’m changing the world because I’m changing myself — for the better. I’m evolving into the change I wish to see.
I’ll touch, briefly, on where most of us have come from and why I feel inspired to change:
Most of us were taught more than a few bullshit beliefs that society has that are just not true. (Well, the aspect of #truth is debatable, since we all create our own realities and whatever we believe is true for us, but…) …honestly, we believe a lot of BS. And I say that they’re “not true” because they aren’t serving us anymore.
Example: You’re not supposed to be happy all the time. You’re supposed to suffer and work hard. You’re not deserving enough.
FALSE!
You ARE worthy of happiness. You ARE worthy of your dreams and desires. You ARE worthy of winning at your badass life!
Thing is, most people are taught that we ought to dig into those false beliefs, drag them out into the light for examination to find out WHO gave us that shit to begin with, WHY we chose to believe it, and WHAT evidence that we’ve collected throughout our miserable lives that shows it’s true.
BUT that, my dear friends, is a bottomless pit!
Why?
The Law of Attraction gets ahold of it and keeps bringing you more thoughts and beliefs to uncover, sort through, sift into piles of “good” and “bad.” …and, before long, you’ve got pipes and pipes of beliefs that are still clogged up despite all your work you’ve done.
So, what’s the most effective way to empower yourself?
To be honest, I can only share what’s worked for me and my clients. I can only share from my direct and indirect experience…and hope that will help others try new things, too. If anything I say doesn’t work for you, or you don’t agree, I invite you to go find something that does work for you. Because everyone deserves a supportive environment and belief system.
So here goes:
- Release your resistance (the beliefs that don’t serve you and don’t feel good).
- Start laying new pipes (beliefs) that DO serve you.
- BAM! All your dreams will come true.
It’s just that easy. ;)
Okay, I know it’s a little more complicated than that because we are humans and we experience daily contrast and we have these things called beliefs that are thought patterns or HABITS of thinking and it’s not quite so easy to create new habits when we’ve been thinking of other habits for years…BUT!
We can do it. Together. In Love…with ourselves, with Life, with each other. (Insert sappy sap-ness about loving all of Humanity here.)
I’m here for you. We can do this. We can lead the way. The LGBT+ community has experienced so much contrast when it comes to discrimination that we KNOW what we want — which is half the battle. We know what we want, and so we now get to teach ourselves how to act like we’re getting it — even in the face of contrast.
We can — and we will — act like we own the world even when the world tries to keep us down.
We can — and we WILL — show our true colors. Show our beauty and fabulousness…rainbows and unicorns and all.
We can — and we will — shine our light so that others will see it, have courage, and shine theirs, too.
We are the Divine Beings we’ve been waiting for.
We are the change we seek.
Let’s move forward in Love together.
