Saga Adds Co-founder Nicole Wee — Hiring Engineers!

I’m so excited to welcome Nicole Wee to the growing Saga team, as Co-founder and Head of Product. Nicole joins us from Instagram, where she was previously a product manager. It was immediately obvious to our whole team that Nicole’s experience and talent designing apps for everyday people, her passion for doing good in the world, and a people-first style was going to be a great fit, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome her.

When I started Saga in 2018 to save my own family’s memories with my mom and dad, Saga was just me calling my parents on the phone and recording their memories, together. Even by the time we had our first paying customers, we barely had a site. Flash forward to today, and Saga’s been featured by publications including USA Today and NBC as a top way for families to stay connected during COVID, a particularly special honor for us. We co-launched a holiday special with AARP, the nation’s largest nonprofit for adults over 50. The project that started with one family, has become an app used by families across the globe, from South Africa to Germany to right here in the San Francisco Bay Area where we started, all thanks to supporters like you, and the awesome families who make up the Saga community.
