Ladder Experience — Day Two

Daily Activities:

12/12 on set intentions.

Best:

Cardio went by in a jiffy… I spent the first 20m on instagram putting up some stories and then I listened to a Jocko Willink podcast that made me feel inferior and subsequently made everything feel easy.

Another great day with my coach… He edited my programming a bit and had me throw in some more core stuff. We made a plan to do some celebrating when I hit my first milestone.

  • I really like sending photos of my meals, it makes me really think about what I’m eating and already have noticed some “healthier” choices that I likely wouldn’t have made on my own.
  • Still drinking a ton of water, noticed that I was less hungry at dinner last night.
  • CONTEXT: I don’t eat during the day, so my only meal of the day is dinner. I don’t do this for health purposes (whether or not you think this type of fasting is healthy, I don’t really care), but rather because I feel tired after I eat and I hate the time-suck of having to eat during the day… so it’s more of a productivity thing for me.

Worst:

Transitioning from Cardio to Training was a little harder on Day 2, part of me wanted to just call it and head into work.

Challenges:

More-so than on Day One I had to make an effort to get my water in, it’s new to me (drinking this much), so still trying to form a habit (long way to go).

Day Two is in the books.
