Starting today, Loom freelancers will begin receiving personalized recommendations about projects that match their skills.

Why did we make this update?
The Loom community has provided great feedback on what’s valuable to them. Simply put: Freelancers want to find projects that match their skills. Employers want to connect with freelancers that meet the needs of their project.

With that insight in mind, we set out to find ways to make better, smarter connections between freelancers and employers.

How does it work?
Freelancers provide key information like role, location, experience and top skills. Also, our project posts have been optimized to learn more about the freelancer an employer is looking to hire.

We utilize key data from both sides to deliver smart recommendations to Loom freelancers about active projects seeking their skills. This means Loom freelancers only receive recommendations that are active and fit their strengths.

Our goal is to generate smarter, faster connections between freelancers and employers so you can spend less time hunting and more time building products.

What’s next?

We’ll continue to improve the speed and relevancy of our project recommendations, and we look forward to hearing more from our community as these project recommendations roll out.

If you have feedback, please send us an email to support@loom.co and we’ll get back to you quickly.

Thanks for continuing to support the Loom community. We can’t wait to make more connections and see what you all make together!
