The day was a special one, held dear within his heart,
A day for family, a day for love, a day for fun,
But he lives a solitary existence, a lonely ride,
With only the love of a single one.

Does he wallow in the sadness?
No, he trusts the universe will fulfil his heart all the same.

He takes great joy in whistling in tune with the chorus of the birds,
As they preen outside his window in the morn,
Together they greet the day as the sun begins to rise,
Singing of the beauty of the new dawn.

Does he feel sorry that he is alone?
No, he trusts the universe know’s what he needs.

He walks the rainforest trail, spying the fighting kangaroos,
Laughing at their antics as they fill him with joy,
He gazes in awe as the slithering python hunts its next meal,
Intrigued as he has been since he was just a boy.

Does he cry tears of loneliness?
No, he trusts the universe will never give him more than he can handle.
