Tuesday 30 August @ 19h30 — Elizabeth Sneddon Theatre

This open performance platform provides an opportunity for up-coming choreographers (some new to choreography and some professional dancers) to present their work in a professional environment with the support of a full technical team. This is one of the ways in which the JOMBA! festival offers assistance in developing dance and choreographic talent by offering open professional performance spaces. Selection of participants is done by a panel of experts via the scrutiny of entry forms.

For 2016 we are delighted to be offering a rich and varied programme featuring the following choreographers;

Lorin Sookool & Julia Wilson (Durban and Cape Town)
 Kristi-Leigh Gresse (Durban)
 Kwanele Finch Thusi (Johannesburg)
 Musa Hlatshwayo (The Movement Lab/Durban)
 Nkululeko Sibanda (University of Zimbabwe/Harare)
 Neliswa Rushualang (Siwela Sonke Dance Theatre/Durban)
 Thapelo Kotlolo & Tshediso Kabulu (Durban)
 Daniel Renner (Austria) and Flatfoot Training Company (Durban)
 JC Zondi (Pietermaritzburg)
