On the edge of the Rocky Mountains…

I spent this last week in the US with work at our major annual conference. When I had a bit of down time I tried to capture a bit of the stunning surroundings and the wildlife living there.

These Humming Birds were amazing. Especially as they hovered around my head. Super tricky to capture in flight.

Another sighting was Grey Squirrel. I know we get these in the UK but to be honest it’s great to see these in the country they actually belong. Unfortunately the chipmunks were too shy and fast to be captured with any image.

These Squirrel’s sound like birds.

I didn’t get to do much landscape. Only when moving between the accommodation and the venue.

This walk between the accommodation and the venue did give the opportunity to spot a few other birds.

Overall this place is stunning and would head back like a shot. I still haven’t managed to photograph bears but I’m sure the day will come.
