Dr. Vicente Martínez. Goodbye, my friend

Claudio J. Camacho used these words after confirming Vicente Martínez´s death on January 28th 2022. Another victim from this horrible pandemic.

I can´t believe that I´m writing these words now.

Vicente Martínez has been one of the most influential people whom I met in these last three years and a half. At scientific level, Vicente had a CUM LAUDE knowledge according to his academic background, but as well as his intellectual capacity — easy to check after having a small chat with him- the most important impact was at personal level: natural humility, always ready to create synergies, project management, high quality contents, with the aim of changing status quo, and high motivation to start new challenges, as he explained to us a few months ago.

Dr. Vicente Martínez. A real good man.

My post in January 2022, the first of the year, was designed to have another totally different content, but it can wait, I think this sad situation deserves a public and trust recognition having in mind Vicente´s soul, sending at the same time all the support and best wishes to the family, close friends, and Naturemimetix staff.

Just as I mentioned to Claudio that horrible afternoon of January 28th 2022, we will maintain Vicente´s legacy always alive.

Vicente, rest in peace, my friend.
