About JOUR 3190

Reporting and Writing Across Platforms is the foundational course for students in the Grady College of Journalism students at the University of Georgia.

As the course title implies, JOUR 3190 students learn the fundamentals of asking questions, finding information and writing stories. We adopt the bedrock rules of transparency, ethics, honesty, accuracy and fairness. We learn how communities operate and how best to report on them. We harness digital tools to tell effective stories. We devote ourselves to the craft of journalism.
