It’s a Thursday morning at the Natural History Museum in Los Angeles, CA. Throughout the day, the museum is filled with visitors, mostly young school children on field trips and young parents with their kids. The museum is filled with exhibits ranging from dinosaur bones to stuffed mammals to crystal gems.

Upon entering the museum, visitors are greeted with a welcome sign.

The exhibit called “The Age of Mammals” features 240 specimens such as this stuffed polar bear, prepared using taxidermy.

Children from local elementary schools get a chance to explore the museum on their field trips.

For some, their teachers have given them the task of filling out worksheets to help them make the most of their experience.

Upon entering and exiting the museum, there’s a gift shop where visitors can buy trinkets and toys.
