I enjoy listening to podcasts but I hate when I see famous people touring all of the big ones cuz they’re on a promotion tour. It feels fake as fuck. Sadly, it’s becoming the new norm. Actors and shit, going on Joe Rogan and cie, when a project goes out. The power balance is slowly shifting in the media. In a way that’s good, but the downside is to lose this fresh approach, honesty, and raw talks, to become flat and dull like TV. Exactly what happened to most YouTubers and influencers. Now, almost everyone follows the same rules to become an ads whore. They sell a fake ass Disney version of themselves and avoid talking about social issues and any subjects who can divide. They just want to please everyone like the mainstream media to make some cash. But who said you absolutely have to make money with this, right away? Being yourself, doing something you truly love, finding your niche, building your audience, this shit will probably take some time but it’ll pay eventually. And fuck it, you don’t need validation when you enjoy the ride.
