I ain’t a phase, I’m always

You might be enjoying the sunset with the person you post on your status almost every five hours,

or eating the delicious Italian meal for the first time in a pretty old town near where you live.

Your eyes are awed as you explore an alley with a cobblestone street and pretty, colorful houses.

You fear neither the summer sun burning your skin nor the winter blues. Instead, you hop from one train to another until you witness the sun setting at 10 at night.

You can’t tear your eyes away as you see the first snow glistening as it falls.

You know that I know you love your new life,

but I know that you know deep inside it would have been better if I came along. It would have been better with me.

You don’t want things to change, but you are the one who changed.

And we both know as much as we pray for things to be the same, it is not going to be.

It’s okay, change is inevitable, it’s not something I’m scared of.

Go for it, I know the unknowns always excite you.

Just remember one thing;

I am not a phase.
I am always, ways, ways.
