Everyone has their own timeline. Some of us may have a short timeframe to reach our goals and some people may take a longer time to find them. There is nothing wrong with that. However, I just recently realized it too. I often think that I’m running out of time, yet when I look back, I don’t find a definite time limit. Of course, nowadays, in some spectrums of life there are time limits, for example the minimum age for some jobs, which often makes us feel like we’re running out of time. But apart from that, there are also many possibilities of different types of jobs. After all, it’s up to each person to decide whether they want to stick to one possibility or dare to try another.

In another story, some of us want to achieve financial stability in our old age. As we get older and we haven’t reached that point yet, we feel like we’re running out of time especially when we see other people achieving the same goals much faster than us. We run when we see others running without really realizing what we’ve accomplished so far. More and more, life feels like a race with no clear victory line ahead. There is no really clear limit on time.

Basically, nothing is certain in this life. Even God who determines death as a certainty for humans never limits our time. He makes time for each person as a mystery so that we don’t bother thinking about when our time limit is. He doesn’t encourage us to be hasty but rather guides us to make the most of our time. So it’s totally fine if we on the same world time standard achieve different things. Compared to spending time chasing achievements, maybe it will feel lighter if you interpret time as something that must be used as well as possible because time will not repeat itself.

If you still have time to spend with your family, then take the time to build warmth and show them affection. If you still have time with your friend, then have fun with them. If you still have time with your loved ones, then take the time to show them you care and appreciate their presence. If you still have time with your pets, play with them and show them that they are precious to you. And if you still have a lot of free time with yourself, then utilize that time to get to know yourself better and take care of yourself.

We never really feel like we’re running out of time until we realize we’ve missed out on many wonderful moments in our lives. Maybe today you still have the opportunity to show how grateful you are for their presence and the next second it’s gone. So, while you can, take the time to appreciate everyone-everything in your life.

While you have the time, take the time, while you are free, take the time, don’t wait for the right time because nothing is really right in life. There will always be opportunities, but every opportunity in every time will not repeat the same. Opportunity is part of the mystery of time. Although God also has a hand in every moment of our lives, some decisions are always up to us.
