A poem.

On Ardmore street was where our story first began,
I still remember our first lemonade stand,
I still think about you old friend,
I wish the good times didn’t have to end.

A moment we both shared,
even if it was one filled with despair,
the laughs we had were many,
the memorable experiences were plenty.

Yes, this was friendship at its finest,
you were like a brother to me if I’m being honest,
our parents were even best friends,
I was sure our friendship would never end.

But alas, when the dust finally did settle,
when life made us step on the gas pedal,
we both started to slowly drift apart,
but you will always have a place in my heart.

I hope you are doing well,
I hope you are giving life hell,
kicking ass and taking names,
dear brother, I’m doing the same.
