I Don’t Believe ‘They'
That’s it, that’s the whole title.
If you were to pickup today’s version of a newspaper, being reportedly practically nobody hardly ever bothers to so much as even thumb through centuries old versions like my hometown’s Philadelphia Inquirer, you could find practically any story you wanted to. Anybody’s version of the truth you could possibly think up. Or atleast, any story the ever present and often demonized but not demonetized algorithm wants you to find.
I mean it. I say that on the heels of a casual Sunday morning flip through of my own Google News feed. To call half of what I came across even as just news, is in itself a joke I’m too exhausted to laugh at. There’s little to no reporting and even less verifying happening in those digital flashes today’s society deems as pages, it is sensationalism at its best and irresponsible at its worst.
The Gaurdian itself, couldn’t quite tell whether President Donald Trump’s or California Governor Gavin Newsome’s version of the Sunday morning news was true, so it just threw all of it and a bag of chips at the page, called it a night and let us the reader decide for ourselves among the casualties. The two time take of a President (presumably) purposely misspelled his opposed Governor’s name to leave us with Newscum. Gee, how immature and clever, all at once.
