I suppose whenever you go through periods of transition, or in a way, it’s a very definite closing of a certain chapter of your life — I suppose those times are always going to be both very upsetting and also very exciting by the very nature because things are changing and you don’t know what’s going to happen.

— Daniel Radcliffe

but hopeful
I packed my SUV
with all of my belongings
left my parents' house at 7 A.M.
and hit the open road.

It was towards the end of winter
five and a half years ago
I was happy to leave home
Yet, I knew I would miss so much
mainly my family
and friends.

I remember driving
on that open road
not having any sort of idea
what would happen next
I also remember
not giving a damn.
