Sitting in my cubicle
I can’t help but feel
A certain type of way
Thinking about what I should write today.
Computer screen is burning my retinas
I can’t help but stare
As I continue to call person after person
God, I just don’t really care.
I’d rather be outside in this heat
but instead, I’m in my seat
living this cubicle life
until 5:30 when I can run home to my wife.
That’s right you heard me cruel world
I’m done with you because you stabbed me in the back
Hold on, I need to cash my paycheck.
Other poems of mine:
Everybody Just Wants To Be Loved By Somebody
Those damn Republicans and those stupid Democrats
they say all sorts of crazy things and wear all sorts of different…
A Love Poem For My Queen
I watch her sleep peacefully
The queen of my castle
She reminds me of the possibilities
Of what life can look like when…
