Tips on Germanic Healing Knowledge (GHK)
Unlocking the Mind-Body Connection
In my life journey, I love to speak with peers about what they are up to. This is how I learn, gain wisdom, and make the journey that much easier. I do this in my business and personal life. With this in mind, I have always sought out or embraced coaching and:
· Visionary thinkers
· Support groups,
· collaboration.
· mentoring
· …And mastermind groups
A favorite free support group I am in is called the Serving Circle. I attend their ZOOM meeting every Tuesday from 7–8:30 PM (EST). It’s usually attended by about 25 great heart-felt people, all looking to make a difference in the world and become more prosperous in body, mind, and spirit.
Through this group I met Deanna Courtney
She is a leader and facilitator who is transforming lives with her extraordinary work. Her ideas educate, motivate, and inspire me regularly.
Today she sent me this wonderful essay.
Germanic Healing Knowledge (GHK): Unlocking the Mind-Body Connection
GHK, a holistic system discovered by a German doctor, delves into the mind-body connection with a focus on the psyche-brain-organ connection. Today, let’s discuss a common concern for young families: diarrhea in babies, and how GHK can offer valuable insights and tips to support your little ones.
Understanding Diarrhea Through GHK: More Than Meets the Eye
GHK teaches us that physical symptoms often have emotional roots. Diarrhea, for instance, is a signal that something significant has resolved in your baby’s life — an unexpected event with the underlying theme, “I can’t digest this, and I’m mad!” It could be a mom’s late arrival for a feeding, a sudden switch to a different feeding method, an experience during pregnancy, or a stressful car ride. These unexpected events can stress out the baby, and the result shows up in the diaper.
The beauty of GHK is that it takes us beyond blaming food or rushing to medical appointments. Instead, it encourages us to put the emotional puzzle pieces together, understanding and addressing the underlying triggers. This approach can not only help manage the current episode of unexpected mess but also prevent future unpredictable blowouts.
Tips for Young Moms: How to Support Your Baby During Diarrhea
When your baby experiences diarrhea, it’s natural to feel concerned. Here are GHK-inspired tips to provide support:
1. Stay Calm and Comforting: Your baby is incredibly attuned to your emotions, so remaining calm is essential.
2. Reflect on Prior Stressors: Consider what just ended. Reflect on your emotional state during pregnancy or any recent stressful events. GHK suggests having a gentle conversation with your baby’s psyche (subconscious) to acknowledge the shocking event and reassure them that it’s over. The goal is to learn from the experience and prevent similar stressors in the future. Sing or hum — that always ups the vibe :)
3. Keep Your Baby Stress-Free: After diarrhea, your baby may feel tired. This is normal. Try to sleep with your baby if possible, providing the warmth and security they need during this natural healing process. Nurse on demand, and seek professional support from a GHK specialist who can offer guidance without adding stress.

I have many friends and associates, who are respected teachers. They usually share their creations with their fans and followers. I want those who know and appreciate my work to expand their horizons and explore and share the ideas of important teachers like Deanna.
