“Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage.”

― Lao Tzu

I can hear my heartbeat inside my chest,
I’m feeling pretty blessed,
that I got to spend another day with you,
all part of the journey that you and I go through.

Baby, this love thing isn’t always easy,
sometimes these emotions make me sick, I get queasy,
the room starts to spin,
as your love punches me right in the chin.

Days like today make me proud to be your spouse,
because together we’re a powerhouse,
nothing can defeat you and me,
right next to you is where I want to be.

I meant those vows I read to you,
your love is the glue,
that holds my world together,
I can’t wait to make this love last forever.
