What it’s like to be an Ole Miss student….

Abbey Bounds, 21, of Nashville, Tennessee, IMC Major, has so many classes during the day, by the time she gets home she’s exhausted and does her studying and homework in bed. Claire Brown, 20, of Hartsville, South Carolina, cannot focus at her house so she spends many nights in the library. Mary Evans Wallace, 21, of Crawfordsville, Arkansas, lives so close to home and Memphis, she is able to go home for dinner or to lunch or dinner in Memphis whenever she wants. She is eating at one of her favorite restaurants, Babalu, in Overton Square.
Kailey Webb, 20, of Shreveport, Louisiana, struggles to pay attention during her Journalism 301 while thinking about her plans for tonight. Kailey is a Journalism major and is an excellent writer, many of her friends ask her to help them edit their papers. Jaekong Lee, 25, is a Marketing Major from South Korea. Even as an international student, he feels Ole Miss is his home. Clay Rosetti, 22, of Atlanta, Georgia leads a focus group for his IMC Class. He is stressed out about starting it on time, as many of the participants are running late for the focus group.
Brooke Pisarik, 21, of Newport Beach, California, is still getting used to navigating the school day without a smart phone. She gave up her iPhone for lent. Charles Stuckey, 21, of San Antonio, Texas, can be found at his fraternity house between classes and for lunch. As a former social chair, he seeks comfort at his fraternity and is very close with his fraternity brothers. Suzannah Merritt, 21, of Fort Worth, Texas balances the hard work of being a Marketing major and having her beloved dog, Blue, at school with her. She stays home a lot of nights that her friends go out or even go to study at the library, because she does not want to leave her dog at home alone; but she wouldn’t have it any other way.
Victor Pinion, 21, Biology major of Greenville, Mississippi, spends a lot of time in the library and goes to bed early most nights. As an avid hunter and fisher, he has to get his homework and studying done in the afternoon so he can get to bed early to wake up at the crack of dawn to hunt. Sunny Williams, 20, of Savannah, Georgia, loves to take a break from studying for chemistry and go bowling and drink with her friends for $2 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Jonathon Plott, 21, of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, struggles to find seating in his Literature class; he says the parking is so bad in the morning he cannot make it to class as early as he would like to find a proper seat.
Vick Evans, 19, from Dallas, Texas, loves to participate in his literature class discussions, he says that participating in class discussions and other hands on activities help him prepare and do better on exams. Jane Anne Darken, 20, of Nashville, Tennessee hates to cook and misses her moms cooking, so she often resorts to getting breakfast and other meals from Starbucks and Freshii. Her favorite bowl at Freshii is the teriyaki chicken. Haley Vassios, 20, of Southlake, Texas, is always on the go and describes her life as an Ole Miss study as “busy”. She is an IMC major and is very involved with her sorority, Delta Delta Delta,
