Group 82’s Ole Miss Big Event 2016 project of gardening.
The Ole Miss Big Event 2016 registration began at 8:00 A.M. this past Saturday morning.
Group project team leaders met at a different table in order to ensure a good project set up for their group.
Grant Tims, a University of Mississippi student, made sure everybody had on their Big Event wristbands before entering Saturday morning.
Before entering the event, Ole Miss Big Event t shirts were handed out by Taylor Whitlock and many other volunteers to anyone who participated in the event Saturday.
Before setting out to your individual projects, group leaders put on an assembly explaining the event Saturday morning.
Group leaders held up their group numbers during this assembly showing their helpers where to find their spot Saturday morning.
Kate Winn’s house needed yard work done, group 82 was set out for the job Saturday afternoon.
Group 82, filled with 10 members, began grabbing the necessities for building this garden.
Group 82 used many tools while planting two gardens and raking leaves Saturday afternoon.
The first garden group 82 planted consisted of four bushes that would grow two feet wide.
Group 82 members such as Christian Haire and Ethan Robbins began shoveling four consistent holes in order for the group to plants the bushes Saturday afternoon.
Christian Haire and Aly parsons were the first two to get started on planting the bushes for Mrs. Kate Saturday afternoon.
After planting, Ethan Robbins began setting out the mulch in order to ensure the bushes healthy growth Saturday afternoon.
After going through the excess dirt from planting Saturday afternoon, Aly Parsons discovered a worm in its home.
