At the end of the island, there is a small beach with surf boards and kayaks. The town awaits warmer weather and tourists.
A singular pier on the beach stretches far into the sea.

Straight from the beach to the mountains of Bristol, Tennessee, the gloomy weather followed.

“The Staircase to Nowhere”. The house was burned in a fire that spread across the entire town in 1711, only the stairs remained.
