This years spring break trip began by heading to the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and boarding a plane to Miami, Florida.
At over 400 miles per hour and 31,000 feet up in the air the plane cruised to the sunshine state.
After a short plane trip and ride from the airport my roommate Francesca, and I arrived in South Beach.
The hotel Francesca and I stayed at was the Hilton Bentley in South Beach which was located at 101 Ocean Drive.
The Hilton Bentley was located right on the beach and the area surrounding our hotel appeared to be calm and somewhat family oriented.
The location of the restaurants, bars, and shops were all in walking distance from the hotel.
The cuisines in Miami was delicious everywhere, but our favorite food we ate was the sushi from Sushi Siam located on 8th Street.
While soaking up the sun on the beach in 80 degree temperatures we found that the best way to cool off was by drinking daiquiris.
A few streets down from where our hotel was located the beach scene was very different. Instead of a relaxed atmosphere all the college students gathered here and partied.
The water was cool and refreshing but the sand beneath your toes was anything but smooth due to all of the shells.
As the day went on the strip continued to get more crowded as you proceeded to the streets in the middle, because that was where all of the nightlife places were loacted.
The scenery surrounding the beach was lush and tropical. There were palm trees located everywhere you looked.
Miami had many different entertainment opportunities and there was no shortage of activties to do while in the ocean.
Our week in Miami,Florida concluded once we boarded flight 1110 back to Atlanta.
Our last stop of spring break was arriving back at the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport where our trip began a week before.
