Among Us was released on June 15, 2018. The game didn’t become popular until the start of the pandemic; it is a great group game where you can interact with friends or with other people internationally.

The game allows you to name yourself however you choose, provides many different colors to make your character along with all sorts of hats. In the game, you can either join an existing game or create one. There are three maps in space to choose from, and the minimum number of players is seven while the maximum is 10. In the game, there are one to three imposters on the map you choose, and the goal of the game is to uncover who the imposters are by chatting with each other during meetings.

You, the player, can be either a crewmate or an imposter — it is chosen randomly, making each round fresh and exciting. Imposters can sabotage by turning off lights and shutting doors all along the map, they can attack, report victims, call emergency meetings, vent, and fake tasks to not get caught. Crewmates have to complete all the tasks along the map to win, even though you have completed your task all the players have to complete their tasks to win they can call an emergency meeting and report victims.

I love playing this game because it takes strategy to either find out who the imposter is or get away with being the imposter.

Social interaction is another bonus of Among Us. My cousins and I can spend hours playing this game with each other helping each other and watching each other’s backs. This game is both thrilling and exciting.
