Good Design
As a part of my course study, I stumped on an excellent page from www.usertesting.com. The page has a brief introduction of UX and UI and few marked quotes from the Design Industry.
Good design is actually a lot harder to notice than the poor design. It is simply because the good designs fit our needs so well that the design is invisible as we are comfortable with it. It is like our moms who is always there and we hardly notice because she is easy, accessible, and useful. But, going to restaurants is like searching for the right app for your taste. Until you find one you keep searching as it is not the perfect experience.
How often we have thought about “Google search” as a bad or good design. It is so humble and always available. All the purpose of the “Google Search engine” is to provide the right information as quickly as possible. It is available on every tool we use, like laptops, computers, and smartwatches, etc. The Google designers knew that their job is to deliver the information with the right content, easy way and quickly.
