(Korean drama) 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 4/5

This is one of those rare dramas that deal with psychological and mental issues that people face.

Psychological issues are usually not discussed as easily as other, physiological ailments. Hence, this drama is unique that aspect. This is the story of two brothers and a girl who form an unlikely, but beautiful bond. Though each of them carry a burden of their down, they work together to overcome them and find both peace and freedom. The story was a bit unpredictable in the beginning, but it was quite evident who the villain was towards the latter part. I also like the way the autistic brother’s story develops, and makes a remarkable turnaround. The bickering between Seo Ye Ji and Oh Jung Se is hilarious, especially when they both act like four-year-old little kids. This drama is beautifully made and is thoroughly interesting from beginning to end.

The drama features a stellar cast. Kim Soo Hyun is absolutely fantastic in this role and has given a wonderful performance. He is the most gorgeous male actor among his peers. It is unbelievable how someone can look this stunning and adorable at 32 years of age! He is heart-stoppingly cute whenever he smiles. Seo Ye Ji is in an unlikely role of a loud, unpredictable, eccentric author who writes creepy stories for little kids, and has also given a wonderful performance. Her brazen pursuit of Kim Soo Hyun and attempts to get physical with him are both funny and refreshing. Oh Jung Se is phenomenal in his role of the autistic brother; his expressions and mannerisms were pretty spot on. The rest of the cast are experienced actors and, as expected, have given very good performances.

As for technical aspects, the direction is superb, and the costume design is remarkable. Seo Ye Ji carries off all her costumes with poise and elan. Cinematography is also pretty good, as it captures the emotions of the various actors, just by camera angles, in several scenes.

This drama may not be for everyone, but if you’re looking for an unusual storyline, then you should definitely watch it.

My rating 😳 😣 😍 πŸ˜† πŸ’•

Love writing. I like to understand the psyche of people I meet, even more than their life story.
