These are some cool facts that I got to know about the Eiffel Tower when I was standing on the second floor of the Eiffel Tower:
- The color of the Eiffel tower has changed multiple times from red-brown to mustard yellow to most recent a shade of brown.
- Every 5 years 45 painters set to paint the Eiffel Tower. They take about 18 months to paint the entire structure.
- Out of the 300 people who constructed the Eiffel Tower, one passed away by falling off the second floor, drunk, during the afterparty.
- The tower houses over 100 TV and Radio Antennae.
- You can wine and dine on the top of the Eiffel Tower at the Champagne Bar.
- When the winds are strong, access to the top is usually shut to ensure safety of the guests. In case you’ve bought a ticket for the top and you couldn’t reach there as it was shut, you can easily ask for a refund!
