If you’ve packed your bags and left for Russia to catch all of the #worldcup2018 action, just like me, these are some top photo trends that you should incorporate in your travel pictures.

1. The one in front of pretty cathedral

Russia is spotted with such colourful cathedrals and beautiful monuments that your trip will probably start in front of St. Basil’s Cathedral or Church of the saviour of spilled blood and this will be your favourite touristy picture from your vacay.

2. The one with the things in your hand

Whether you’re posing with match tickets or a fancy Russian drink, a picture with “what’s in your hand” is totally 2018. Pro tip: you can even take this picture when you’re totally exhausted and your make up is worn down cuz all it captures is your hand.

3. The one with the candid moment

Most of our lost in thought moment are fake candids but they’re still trending. Click these when you’re done smiling for every picture. Look away from the camera, be yourself and click!

4. The one with the supporters

It’s not everyday that you find a Brazilian guy to the left, Mexican to the right, Russian in the front and well, maybe a British guy behind you. This event is in its truest sense the ‘World’ Cup because everyone from around the world has arrived to root for their countries or favourite teams. When you find a human from another continent rooting for the same team as you are, you click!

5. The one with the Russian Foodgasm

It goes without saying that when in Russia, you’re going to binge on Russian Salads, Stroganoffs and Vodkas. If you visit an authentic restaurant which presents to you some food that delights not just your tummy, but even your eyes, click!

6. The one with the Zabivaka

Of all the tall humans you’ll meet in Russia, I can ensure you that Zabivaka- the World Cup 2018 mascot is the cutest one. You’ll find him at the Fanfest and at the matches. Make sure to spot him and click.

7. The one at the metro stations

If you taken a trip on one of Moscow or Saint Petersburg metros, you’ll know that the metro stations are no less beautiful than museums. The steep escalator and the intricate carvings and statues are sure to take you back a 100 years.

8. The one with something Russian

When I saw this cap in a store, I totally fell for it. Russia has such a rich heritage and culture that you’re bound to find something nice that you’d love to take home. Click a picture with the one thing Russian that you totally loved.

Even if you are not crazy about taking pictures, find some time to take some, because when you’re trip is over.. it’s the only thing that will take you down the memory lane.

If you went to Russia and clicked some amazing pictures, hit me up by commenting on this post.

Cheers! Or as they say in Russian Nasdarovje.
