“Halloween Costume Contest” on www.costume-works.com was founded in 2006 by Coletta Daniel (Los Angeles, USA) and is held every year to select the most original Halloween costumes.

The 2018 contest started on October 5th and is closed for entry on November 20th.

You can submit your costume to the contest, no matter where you live. Just take pictures of the costume, send them through the website www.costume-works.com to register (see the contest’s guidelines).

There are 06 nomination categories: Best Family Costume, Coolest Adult costume, Best Children’s Costume, Best Couple Costume, Best Group Costumes, Cutest Baby Costume.

Prizes in each category: 1st place — $ 100, 2nd place — $ 50, 3rd place — $ 25.

While rewards are tiny and mainly for encouragement, the contest attracts every year hundreds of people who submit their DIY costumes with lots of creative ideas.
