Preparing my OJT Daily Accomplishment report

In my last week of OJT in Albay Capitol Employees Multi-Purpose Cooperative (ACEMPC), we focused on finishing the tasks that have been assigned to us. We began to write our final report about the daily accomplishments.

I also felt mixed emotions, partly happy and partly sad. Partly happy and rewarding because finally we’re done in this OJT subject that lasted for almost 3 months and partly sad because we’ll going to miss our trainers and other colleagues at ACEMPC.

I have developed as a trainee to follow strictly on instructions to ensure that the process is properly sequence. I can say that I gained to work effectively and competently in the cooperative.

From the moment I set my feet on this place, I know I will be facing different challenges on being a part of this cooperative but at the same time I know that I will learn new things regarding the possible work that I will be doing in the cooperative.

I was able to learn how to accept small or big mistakes. In this practicum, I’ve learned how to face the real world and talked to different people. In my first week as an intern, I thought I was not able to do well but as time passed by, I know I gained more self-confidence and self-esteem. I have the initiative in doing something and learned new skills.

I’ve also learned how to be flexible, because corporate culture is always changing. I learned to be punctual, to be respectful especially to those on the higher position, to socialize and build a harmonious relationship with other employees, to persevere and be patient, to be cautious in all the works that I do, to be humble and always eager to learn, and many more.

Experience is the best teacher and nothing compares to the knowledge that it can give to us. It may be hard at first, but once we learn to appreciate and love what we’re doing, it became easier and easier every day.

In the beginning, working with people you have just first met is something different and something that is hard inside. Hard inside that you can’t say anything or do anything that you are usually saying because the near fact that you might offend them or they may think you’re rude. On my experience I have became an observant and a listener to the people I worked with.

Also be grateful for anything and everything you do in the workplace. Treat every interaction and lesson as a blessing. Thank everyone in the office for the little things they do for you. Show your gratitude through small gifts or kind words.

In my 486 hours of OJT, I can say that the course I enrolled is exactly where I want and I will probably stay in this profession for as long job opportunities are present. The connections that I’d make at an internship can go far, and might help me in ways that I never expected.

Thank you so much Sir Bhenz, Ma’am Mahan, Ma’am Loids and Sir Rey and for the rest of the people who have helped me become who I am today. For our friendship that built in this cooperative, it will surely last.

I am forever grateful for all the memories and experiences that I was able to have because of everyone here and for the great people who I’ve met along this learning journey.

Until next time,

Joyce Lorbes
