WEEK 7: OJT Learning Experience (October 14–18, 2019)
This week had been very busy for us. The Cooperative Board Members have their assembly meeting at the office for some matters and they discussed about the Yule-Tide Loan Application. We started to receive some application forms for the said loan. We prepared the mock cheques for the members that applied for the said loan. The next day, it’s the releasing day of the Yule-Tide Loan Application. We distributed the mock cheques to the members that have been granted with the loan.
The next day, sir Bhenz gave us a task to do vouchering. We we’re anxious that day because it’s our first time to do the vouchering. Especially that we have a mistake during the printing of one of the vouchers. We feel sorry about that and he said that it was ok. We also entertain some clients that time and release some vouchers. After that, we had a small celebration for kuya Mikko that will celebrate his birthday within that week.
This week totally exhausted us but at the same time it’s exciting and fun because it was our first released of mock cheques for the members with the guidance of Sir Bhenz. We are grateful that Sir Bhenz, Ma’am Loids and Ma’am Mahan are there always to guide and help us. There are important things I’ve learned. First, you needed to please everyone and try as much as you can to be polite and nice to everyone, and do it with sincerity (yung hindi plastic) because when we are kind to people, same kindness returns to us. And smile always.
Reflection: Though the work is getting tougher and harder it does not mean that you will just easily give up on it, just ask their guidance so that you can execute it and finished it as what they wanted and don’t forget to smile.
