Badlucky from Triska joins Arcadians

You might’ve heard about Arcadians - an NFT project by OP Games that aims to grow the Web 3 gaming space. Since I’ve collaborated with Paul Gadi in the past already, we’ve decided to join forces here as well. And so, our little black cat Badlucky from the game Triska Reloaded decided to join Arcadians as a pet sidekick.

I’ve teamed up with Paul for the first Kernel Gaming Guild around the end of 2020 (with the two next Guilds happening since then already), and we also cooperated around the Decentralized category in Gamedev.js Jam 2021 in April 2021. I’m fascinated by the technology and want to explore the Web 3 space, which Paul is doing for some time now.

That’s why I was happy to offer Badlucky, our mascot from Triska, to be included as a (very) limited addition to some of the 10 000 original Arcadians - only about 0.5%–1.0% of all those will be lucky enough to receive it!

The cool thing about the Arcadians NFT project is that ALL proceeds from the sale will go into funding developers through an acceleration program, and authors of the open source game engines like Godot, Phaser, and Defold. OP Games team was also able to get Josh Blaylock (Transformers comics) and Jake Foushee (Optimus Prime voice) on board, which sounds impressive.

The NFTs will serve not only as avatars, but also as game utilities developers can use to build their games with, taking important part in the creation of the OP Metaverse. Arcadians are meant to be game legos, and their authors are curious to see what the community can build with them.

If you’re interested, make sure to visit arcadians.io website for more details, follow ArcadiansNFT on Twitter, and join their Discord. Today, October 20th 2021 at 9 PM EST the project will publicly launch on Ethereum Mainnet - every Arcadian will cost only 0.055 ETH (~200 USD).
