Voting and feedback

Voting on the submitted entries by participants starts now, same as experts giving feedback to your games. The voting app is at vote.js13kgames.com, and it runs till October 4th.

This will work the same way as in 2019 and 2020 - rounds of “1 vs 1 battles” between entries, where you select which one of the two is better in Innovation, Fun, Theme, Gameplay, Graphics, Audio, and Controls (which will focus on how well the entry works on Desktop, Mobile, or Server). And then move to the next pair. Each round compares the games that got similar scores, so at first they are more or less random, but later on it gets more tricky, but this helps the results be more granular.

The WebXR, Web Monetization, and Decentralized category winners will be selected by the experts, outside the voting app. Unfinished category entries, as planned, won’t be judged at all.

You have three weeks to vote: it ends October 4th, and the winners will be announced the next day. Good luck and have fun voting!
