Mozilla Mixed Reality team brings in a bag full of goodies for the WebXR category this year - you will be able to use Three.js, and win one of the three Oculus Quest devices!

This category was originally created in 2017 and was then called A-Frame, because it allowed to use A-Frame framework in your entries outside of the size limit. Next, in 2018, with the help from Microsoft, we’ve added Babylon.js as the second option, and thanks to Mozilla we gave away three Oculus Go devices back then.

This year we’re adding Three.js to the mix (so you can now pick from any of the three available libraries: A-Frame, Babylon.js, or Three.js) and also breaking the bank with three brand new Oculus Quests as the main prizes for the winners! Yay for the Mozilla Mixed Reality team!

We had 28 entries submitted two years ago, and 19 entries last year - I wonder if we can make it past 30 this time. Especially since you can now mix WebXR with Web Monetization and earn money from your Virtual or Augmented Reality entries. Plus, who wouldn’t want to win Oculus Quest, right?
