Lebanese Military Strikes militants along border

The Lebanese Army targeted Tuesday militant gatherings along the country’s Syrian northeastern border using rockets and heavy artillery. Hezbollah’s war media center confirmed that the army targeted militants on the outskirts of Arsal, near Ras Baalbek.

Israel introduced explosive devices to Lebanese waters

Lebanese Army released a military statement after an Israeli gunboat launched an explosive device into the water off Lebanon’s southern coast, violating the country’s maritime border. The gunboat crossed into Lebanese territorial waters by 425 meters at 4:57 a.m. for five minutes off Ras al-Naqoura.

Garbage Collection in Mount Lebanon resumes Wednesday

Agriculture Minister Akram Chehayeb announced that garbage collection in Mount Lebanon towns resumes on Tuesday night. Garbage is to be collected from 45 towns, Chehayeb announced. The announcement came shortly after the Kataeb Party reopened access to a landfill site.

Yaghi and Tleis families Clash in Baalbek, East Lebanon

A fight broke out between Yaghi and Tleis families in east Lebanon over personal disputes. Members from both families used heavy machine guns during the clashes in Baalbek, local media said. The fight broke out as a member of the Tleis family burned a house belonging to a Yaghi family member. No casualties were reported and Lebanese Army intervened to prevent further escalations.
