Berri adjourns the election session till September 28

This morning, House Speaker Nabih Berri adjourned the parliament session meant to elect a president until September 28, because of the lack of quorum with the presence of 41 deputies while at least 86 should have been present.


Geagea warns about the garbage crisis

The Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea warned that his party refuses to remain silent over the country’s trash crisis that has been going on for more than a year emphasizing the urge to take serious measures.

Several four-wheel-drive vehicles and a pickup truck kidnapped medical director Dr. Saleh al-Shall from his property at Ibn Sina hospital, today in the city of Baalbek. An eyewitness said that the vehicles carrying Dr. al-Shall were seen heading to the town of Brital.
