Be prepared and eliminate your worries on this update.

The latest Ethereum fork or better say the update is coming in no time as soon as the block # reaches 7,080,000 during these days. Many people are wondering what should they do when this fork comes. Here we have concluded the most frequently asked questions about Constantinople to help ETH holders better understand and be prepared for it.

Is Constantinople a fork? Like BTC to BCH?

It is indeed a hard fork of Ethereum main chain, but it is not like BTC — BCH because the Constantinople is not a contentious fork, which means that everyone agrees that we should use the new Constantinople fork and leave the old one. As few people adding new blocks to the old chain, the old chain will naturally fade. Unlike the BCH fork, both BTC and BCH have followers and turns out that both chains continue running with value.

What makes Constantinople better?

The Constantinople released 5 Ehthereum Improvement Proposals (EIPs). To see what exactly these 5 EIPs do, simply search EIP 145, 1052, 1283, 1014 and 1234 for details. For the most average users, what we need to know is just, these EIPs improve ETH.

So OK… What to do?

I believe that most of us do not really care what Constantinople is and what does it improve. What we care the most is that, does the Constantinople affect my ETH in exchanges or personal wallets? Do I need to manually update my ETH into this… some kind of evolved ETH?

The answer is NO, nothing you need to do on that. To better understand your situation, I have drawn a diagram guiding you on the next action to welcome the Constantinople.

So… your address, your ETH, your everything about Ethereum is still there. Nothing will be changed. The ones who need to take actions are the node runners.

Btw, JuBiter wallet is ready for Constantinople… Ad as task lol.
