Rover and the Canadian Hockey League (CHL) are excited to announce a multi-year partnership to deliver best-in-class mobile engagement through their new league mobile app. The partnership will serve all 60 CHL teams across 3 regional leagues as well as a host of CHL major events across the country.

The partnership will enable the CHL to create more personalized fan experiences for both game attendees and fans engaging from home. Rover’s fan engagement tools will provide unique ways for the league and its respective clubs to drive fan engagement and sponsorship value on both mobile web and in the new league app.

“We are excited to partner with Rover to ensure our fans get immediate access to engaging mobile content that drives a world class fan experience. Teams and leagues within the CHL will use Rover to add value to the fan experience both in venue and for those users watching on broadcast or live stream.” said Mark Dickie, Sr. Manager, Digital for the CHL.

John Coombs, CEO of Rover, explained, “We are excited to launch with another major sports league who will take advantage of Rover’s newest features, specifically optimized for league-level use cases. The CHL has demonstrated leadership and innovation by recognizing a perfect balance between driving fan engagement while also creating new inventory and value for their partners.”

The 2019 season will see the CHL take advantage of these new digital assets with their new mobile apps being available for download on the App Store and on Google play this coming Fall.
