Highlights and Firsts in 2023

To continue the trend we started last year, it’s that time of year to reflect on the highlights of Juice Box Monkey Designs. 2023 seemed to slip away just as the groove started, there was a lot of continuous reflection to make sure commitments and deliveries were always ongoing. Here are the things we are most proud of in 2023:

Highlights

• We now have launched a half a dozen apps in the Apple App Store 🎉
• Launched update to Chance Rope, a simple rope game of chance
• We built out new updates to IF I INVESTED . IN during a hackathon (outside our regular quarter planning)
• Launched a handful of new content areas like Data Driven Choice and Smartie Home

Firsts

• A new simple catalogue of apps called Just Blank Apps
• Released our first helpful npm package called Grid Matrix
• Three day hackathon for building new updates to IF I INVESTED . IN (We want to continue this trend in 2024)

Planning ahead to 2024 we also worked on and planned some items in 2023 for 2024:

Groundwork for 2024

• We are working on a multi-year project that we can’t say much about yet but we are very excited about it.
• We have planned and already working on new versions of Just Blank Apps. These apps will either be updates to existing apps or brand new apps for the family of Just apps.
• We unfortunately didn’t launch our redesign of our site in 2023 but it has been slated for later this year.
