In our blog on decentralized platforms (see: https://medium.com/juiice-io/decentralized-platform-1f90b8cf58b) we have seen how not being in control of your content or your ability to monetize on it, is a serious problem in today’s world, where sitting democratically elected presidents are banned from social media (bots and algos), because a private company does not agree with his politics of views.

This is serious for several reasons, then not just being no longer able to earn income from your work, also censoring of ideas, is a threat to freedom of speech, and as long as it does not present a call to violence, is insulting or aimed at damaging someone’s position or company, there is no legal or moral principle to allow censorship.

Juiice is aware of these tendencies to take away civil and human rights. It may not be next door for you or most of our readers and investors, but the world wide web reaches into all corners of the earth — and what happens on the other side of the globe, might quickly reach our safe shores. In any way, freedom and civil rights are important. As a social media company, Juiice will work out good and fair policies — and bots will do the rest …

Beet-juice and Bot-Juiice … welcome in the metaverse. And let us think how you feel about freedom of expression, censorship and how to have a civil discourse, without trolls (or zealous bots).
