It’s starting to feel like we’re fully “back into the swing of things” with nearly every major esport settling into its groove in the new normal, with a few notable exceptions (looking at you, RLCS). Get ready for another jam-packed weekend of esport entertainment!

TOP TIER: BLASTING INTO SPRING FINALS 🚀

There are just 3 days left in the BLAST Premier: Spring Finals for CS:GO, with a total of $750,000 and spots in the BLAST Premier: Global Finals on the line. As per the new normal, this event is split into North American and European brackets and luckily for us fans, and there’s a damn good chance for an underdog story in both regions.

In Europe, the current #1 team in the world (via HLTV), G2 Esports, is in the losers bracket, with Vitality (#10) vs. FaZe (#3) and Na’Vi (#6) vs. compLexity (#20) in the winners bracket.

In the Americas, the higher seeds of FURIA (#4) and Team Liquid (#7) are in the losers bracket, and one of the relative underdogs MIBR (#18) and Evil Geniuses (#12) guaranteed a slot in the grand finals via winners bracket.

We’ve got both regions tournaments packaged up nicely for you on our 2020 BLAST Premier Spring Finals event page. Enjoy.

The true beginning of VALORANT esports is here

VALORANT’s “Ignition Series” is the beginning of officially Riot endorsed VALORANT esports events, which kicks off this weekend with the G2 Esports Invitational (Europe) and RAGE Invitational (Japan). Head over to our VALORANT game directory to find the Ignition Series (and more).

DreamHack StarCraft II Masters 2020 Qualifiers

Only 16 players will make it to the season finals of DH SC2 Masters 2020 in July, and we’re seeing qualifiers go down in almost every region in the next couple of weeks. Not only will the winners of these qualifiers secure a spot in the finals, but they will also inherit a cash prize and EPT Global Points. We’ve got every single match on our DH SC2 Masters event page.

⚙️ THE GRIND: A Chance at Redemption in the LEC

LCS

Cloud9 vs. Evil Geniuses takes place this Saturday and both teams are looking to muddy each other’s 2–0 record in the split. If there’s a moment for EG to overthrow the kings of NA, it’s here and now.

LEC

G2 has had a shaky start to the summer split, but their match against the 3–0 Rogue on Saturday will be their chance to prove that they still belong at the top. However, if they lose, they just might see their monopoly in the LEC’s top rankings slip away.

LCK

Kingzone DragonX proved they can hang in the last split but they’ll have to show consistency in their match against Gen.G on Friday, who have shown split after split that they’re a force to be reckoned with.

Overwatch League

We have a battle of the coasts this week as the Los Angeles Valiant faces Florida Mayhem this Sunday. The Valiant are only 3 wins behind, but one win could set them only two positions apart from the Mayhem on the leaderboards.

Call of Duty League

The New York Subliners trail OpTic Gaming by only a single loss and their match on Friday will be the only chance they have at taking control of the middle ranks in the leaderboard.
